After installing the purchased version of Musician or Composer, it reports that it is still the trial version rather than the purchased version. What should I do?

To correct this problem, first uninstall the trial version as follows:

  1. In the Windows Start menu, choose Settings / Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel, choose Add / Remove Programs, and select Notation Musician (Composer) for removal.
  3. After uninstalling the trial version of Notation, run NotationMusician20TrialSetup.exe (or the corresponding Composer file) if it is located in your download directory. NotationMusician20Setup.exe is the setup program for the purchased version of Musician, and Composer has it's corresponding filename as well.

If you cannot find the installation file (as named above) on your hard drive, then download the file again from the Internet location (URL) that was emailed to you when you purchased the software. Or, you can always redownload your purchased copy of Notation software by following the instructions at
Choose files or drag and drop files
